Salsa Cycles is a bicycle manufacturer that makes touring, mountain, and gravel bicycles and components. Salsa Cycles was founded by Ross Shafer in 1981 or 1982. Initially he focused on producing bicycle frames and custom stems. In 1997, the brand was acquired by Quality Bicycle Products.
